Seeing the Sights

Many Delegates attending an ICM Congress will take the tourist trail when the Congress ends. A full programme of post Congress tours will be provided in the Registration Brochure to be published in early 2012, but here is a flavour of the spectacular trips that will be available.

Grand city Tour

Grand Tour of PragueA morning or afternoon walking tour for 4 hours that includes Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge and the Old town with its famous astronomical clock.

 

Two day Trip to Český Krumlov

Český KrumlovThis Historical town is a jewel of Southern Bohemia with its labyrinth of lanes and hidden nooks, and its exquisite castle and architecture.

Two day Trip to Karlovy Vary

Karlovy VaryThe city is situated in the western part of the Czech Republic on a junction of two rivers about 120 km from Prague. It contains the largest and most famous health resort in the Czech Republic with an opportunity to use the facilities. The city has a rich history, founded in the 14th century by Charles IV. The trip includes a visit to the Moser Glass factory.

 

Boat Trip

Boat TripThis tour offers the opportunity to explore enchanted Prague from the deck of a boat. The river cruise allows you to discover some of the city´s major monuments and sights, such as the National Theatre, Prague Castle and Charles Bridge, while relaxing over dinner or a drink and listening to music or dancing.
